This summer I have great opportunity to be part of a UM startup Cribspot! As a marketing and content intern, I will be contributing to Cribspot’s marketing and brand identity. Cribspot originally started as a search engine for sublets on U of M’s campus, and has now shifted towards property management in Ann Arbor, East Lansing, Columbus. I’m really excited to be a part of the team because my daily contributions have an immediate impact. Additionally, I’m working with two other U of M students where we’ve been given freedom to make decisions and develop relevant content for both owners and tenants. I’ve learned a lot about SEO, KPIs, real estate, and constantly testing and editing. We have just completed writing and editing a FAQ for our users, and are looking to publish that to the blog soon. Now, we’re shifting towards creating a brand identity and social media marketing to target more users. I look forward to sharing more about my experience at Cribspot in future blog posts!
