When I first started the internship I had no idea about what I would be doing, or what the job consisted of. I was surprised to learn how much it could vary. While there are typical things that every employee must do, there are also a lot of different tasks an associate can be assigned that depend on the case they’re currently working on. I wasn’t expecting the diversity of tasks that could be assigned. Additionally, it was neat to find out just how many different kinds of companies and cases the firm works for. We have had assignments on industries such as pharmaceutical, telecommunications, and the toy industries. I’m surprised at how much I’ve learned, not just about this job and all of its technical aspects, but about various industries overall.
