I am finishing up this week. Somehow it feels like it flew by even if the days sometimes felt long. I wouldn’t give up this experience for anything despite the challenges I had with dealing with upset customers and having a rough time solving problems. We had a speaker on the last day that had us recall our first phone call with a customer, how scary or hard it was, and then think about our most recent. As cliche a moment it was, it made me realize how far I’ve come- how much I’ve learned, how much better I had become as a communicator and problem solver. She also pointed out how we did work that impacted the company, and not stuff you may think an intern does like get coffees. This was a very valuable experience, and I am grateful.
