So here at Old National, I’ve been placed in the wealth management department. I was really excited about this because this is one of the fields of banking that I am least familiar with – I was excited to not only learn and help the clients but to help myself as well. Being a college student, I constantly worry about money and having enough of it to satisfy my needs and wants after graduation. I can honestly say I have learned so much from my supervisor in what it takes to construct a successful financial plan, I even got to on a client visit as well. I think there is something important to being able to see a boss work up close and personal – it probably makes their work seem more tangible. All in all this has helped me discover what I would want to do outside once I graduate.
Until next time!
