Mentoring | #4

It is evident that the internship is soon coming to an end within the next few weeks. I have learned a lot but the most I have learned from is my mentor. Within the PILOT Internship, we were all assigned a mentor and this was usually someone who has been in PILOT longer than some of us. I learned new things from Richard and Cindy. More specifically I learned about how to problem solve without using personal feelings and thinking rationally. And this was important because as the dates for the program are coming up, a lot of decisions are being made. I can only keep working hard to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Afsana — I’m so happy to hear you’ve had supportive mentors throughout this experience. Thinking rationally can be challenging (I struggle with it myself!), but it sounds like Richard and Cindy have been really helpful.

At this time, I would like to introduce you to Uzma Anwar. Uzma will be following your internship until August. Best of luck to you!
