Throughout my time at Yale, I’ve been fortunate enough to be a part of several different projects and ongoing studies. My own project focused on quantifying drug delivery systems for liver cancer treatment using techniques including image registration and intensity-based thresholding. In addition, I have been working on developing standard operating procedures for using automated thresholding tools that determine viable and necrotic parts of the tumor. I’ve also been helping out with pre-clinical rabbit studies where I have helped prep and monitor the rabbits for procedures and scans. Having a role in all these different types of projects and studies have definitely given me great exposure to clinical research and couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity.
