My greatest food memory during my time abroad was at The Bombay Club, an Indian restaurant that “delivers sophisticated Indian meals along with live piano tunes.” The restaurant mixes class with affordability, and has served some notable patrons, including President Clinton, President George H. W. Bush, President Nelson Mandela, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Harrison Ford, and Bruce Willis, among many others.
I decided to go to this restaurant for my birthday when my parents came to visit. We started dinner with some samosas, and for my meal, I indulged in the Chicken Tikka Makhani. I appreciated the authenticity of the food, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. I am glad I got to try this D.C. hot spot.
