Inv my seventh week in Albania, another intern and I got the opportunity to visit Durres County another high tourist beach. This beach was much different from the beach in Sarande and Ksamil. It was a lot less clean and it seemed to be targeting a different class. Durres seemed to be more of a vacation spot to working class citizens. It lacked the glamor that Sarande had more of. It was evident that Durres was mainly visited by local citizens of the counties nearby, whereas in Sarande and Ksamil visitors were from all over Europe. One thing I was happy to find in Durres was they did have a first aid station very similar to the one in my healthcare proposal for Nivica. I was extremely happy to find it and used it as a model for my suggestions proposed for Nivica.
